Problem Statement:

Dental patients often faced fragmented digital experiences difficulty booking or rescheduling appointments, lack of timely notifications, limited access to medical records, and no direct communication channel with their dentists. This led to missed appointments, poor engagement, and reduced satisfaction.

Proposed Solution :

  • User Research: Conducted interviews and usability studies with patients and dental professionals to identify pain points and expectations.

  • Seamless Appointment Management: Designed a user-friendly flow for booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments, with calendar integration and automated reminders.

  • Real-Time Notifications: Implemented push notifications for appointment updates, reminders, and new messages.

  • Doctor-Patient Chat: Developed a secure, HIPAA-compliant chat feature for direct communication between patients and dental professionals.

  • Patient Profile & Medical Records: Enabled patients to view and update their profiles, access treatment history, and securely share records with providers.

  • Design System: Built a mobile-first design system with reusable components, clear guidelines, and accessibility standards for consistent user experience.

Challenges Handled :

  • Privacy & Compliance: Ensured all features met HIPAA and accessibility (WCAG) requirements.
